Camp Challenge
My wife and I conducted youth camps throughout the NW USA from 1988-1997. In 1998, I was called by our home church in Fairbanks (the Hamilton Acres Baptist Church) to be their Sr Pastor. I immediately began looking for property to purchase and develop for a Christian camp facility. The Lord provided 72.5 Acres with an existing cabin on it for just 25,000.00 dollars! Today, Camp Challenge is a wonderful, unashamedly historically fundamental Baptist Camp ministry!
The camp is owned and operated by Open Bible Ministries, Inc. Our board members are all believers who live an exemplary Christian life and are faithful to their local churches.
